It is very easy to file a renter’s insurance claim. You should call/contact the broker/agent that is servicing your policy. If you do not know who it is, then call the insurer directly.
You will be asked some questions regarding the items that were damaged, stolen etc…so be prepared to provide information. If it is a liability claim, more extensive information may be needed.
