We just sold our house in Arizona and are staying with family in Utah (and likely studying as a full time university student) until our house in Michigan is ready for us to move in (about a year from now). Our vehicles are titled, registered, and insured in Arizona. We consider ourselves to still be Arizona residents (not working in Utah, keeping voter registration in AZ) until we actually move to Michigan. Do we need to make any changes to our insurance for this situation?

We have a new 16 year old driver. Friends are telling us in MN if the cars he is driving are fully insured he doesn’t have to be insured (meaning we don’t have to tell our agent or increase our rates). This seems crazy to me.

What is “contingent primary auto liability insurance coverage?” pertaining to a transportation for hire business vehicle?
I’m trying to set up insurance for a passenger transport business and I am required to get insurance that fits the following parameters:
- contingent primary auto liability coverage from the time a driver indicates that the vehicle is available to accept a ride request but before the driver has accepted a ride request
- $50,000 per person
- $100,000 per occurrence for bodily injury
- $25,000 in property damage
What kind of insurance is this referring to?

What Will The Insurance Company Do If My Car Is Totaled?
I recently hit a coyote with my car, and am still waiting for an adjuster to come out. I still owe 9000 dollars on my car but it is only worth around 2000. I have loan lease payoff coverage. I know that it would cost more to repair it than what it’s worth. Is it possible that they may still have it repaired so that it is cheaper than paying off my loan?
