I feel it is extremely important as it is typically one of the lowest cost insurance coverages available for the benefit that it provides. If there was a fire in the premise that you are renting could you afford to pay a months rent to secure a new premise at a moments notice? Could you afford to replace all of your personal belonging in the event of a fire at the premise that you are renting? These questions are just a couple of examples of the protection that renters insurance may provide.
