As mentioned above yes and no. Yes they do and no is not in their name its written through other companies. If you call them directly they should be able to inform you on the companies they send it out to and any other additional question about does companies. Thanks.

The answer to the question of whether or not Progressive offers renters insurance, depends on where you live. Check with an agent in your state. I can tell you that in California, Progressive does not offer renters or homeowners policies. Perhaps in time they will but for now renters have to go to another company.

Progressive offers renters insurance through their “Home Advantage” program. Policies are underwritten by select companies that are not affiliates of Progressive and are solely responsible for claims.
Some of the participating carriers are Homesite and IDS. Quotes can be obtained online or over the phone. Renters insurance policies, of course, do not cover structures.
