I would say that a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool is a must. You can keep everything in one spot and even send emails from some CRM’s. It saves also saves on paper.
As Edward stated, a quote engine with underwriting information and product information is also necessary if you are selling products from more than one carrier.
I haven’t tried the pretzels yet but think I’ll start.

Without question, quote engines. They provide instant online quotes to consumers and of course, to brokers themselves.
There is much more information in the quote engine software including online applications, product information, licensing information, and additional email capability.
Certainly, a phone and laptop must be included along with some pretzels. I just can’t work without pretzels.
