   The answer is probably “yes”. Medicare is “too big to fail”. Working taxpayers paid for Medicare with payroll taxes for years and expect Medicare to be there when they retire.

   Medicare will survive, but don’t expect it to be anything like the current plan. You will pay more in taxes while you are working, higher premiums, deductibles and out of pocket once you are covered by Medicare.
