To determine if a Medi-Gap policy is worth the cost to you, you might want to look back at the last couple years and add up you total co-pays and deductibles that you paid. Medi-gap policies are designed to cover those costs for you, so if you paid more in deductibles and co pays last year than the premiums will be for the Medi-gap, it’s probably worth it!

That is a great question! Unfortunately, though we have made progress on health care in America, there are still issues. One of them is the gap in coverage left from Medicare in coverage needed by most Elder Citizens. Dental coverage, for example is not Medicare covered, as well as many other services and medications. That is where the Medigap plans come in. They help cover for the expenses of, or the provision of many of those services. Look for one that provides the coverage that you need. Thanks for asking!
