   Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EDG) is considered a covered expense under Medicare. However, if you are not on traditional Medicare and you have either an advantage or supplemental medicare plan than you will want contact your benefits verification hotline (on your cards) to not only make sure, but see how your benefits are covered.
