How Is Long Term Care Insurance Regulated?

Long term care insurance is regulated the same as most all other types of insurance policies through your state in which you reside state Department of Insurance or DOI. Each DOI determines which insurance company can do business in their state and which policies are allowed to be marketed in the state. DOI also helps with consumer complaints to be sure claims are handled correctly and in a reasonable time.
