It is always best to talk to your Insurance Professional about the terms and conditions of your particular policy, but for the most part, vandalism is a specifically covered peril in most standard Homeowners Insurance policies. Any covered loss if of course subject to your deductible. In a case like this, more than likely the claims professional will be asking for a copy of a police report.
