   Breast augmentation is generally considered a cosmetic procdure and not a medically necessary procedure, therefore, it is usually not covered.  Breast reduction can be considered medically necessary and covered by health insurance if the breasts are causing back and neck issues.

   If it is considered medically necessary the surgery is covered once a woman is 18 years old and an adult.
