This really depends on where you are located and if there are any health issues. While this would affect the rate in 2013, with Healthcare reform starting in 2014, health issues will no longer be considered. I would advise seeking out a broker who represents a number of companies and having them shop your rates. Remember, the initial rates are quotes. Your final rate is determined once you have been underwritten by the plan, at least until 2014.
