Good question. Employers have their own guidelines that determine if an employee is eligible for health coverage such as full or part time, sometimes you are automatically enrolled and sometimes you have to wait a certain amount of time. It’s important for you to know that you can apply for your own health plan and if you change jobs you won’t have to worry about your health benefits being terminated.
