   Cancer insurance is a much debated topic and one that has no clear cut answer.

   Do you need a cancer plan?

   In most cases, probably not. Especially so if you have a good major medical plan or Medicare.

   One reason for considering a cancer plan is the cash benefit that can help you cover your out of pocket costs such as deductibles, copay’s and coinsurance.
