Look at this from two points of view. From the liability point of view the most expensive car to insure is one that has a great deal of power and can accelerate quickly. From a physical damage point of view the most expensive car to insure would be a car that is in limited production and has features that make it difficult to repair. What comes to mind would be a high powered sports car with a retractable metal roof.
