It is absolutely possible to purchase automobile insurance online. I have found that the standard of care given to customers purchasing online tends to be minimal as price is usually the only issue. Even though I sell auto insurance, I myself have dialed the 1-800 insurance numbers and priced online and when they are quoting my insurance, I have never had anyone match my coverage’s. On the other hand, they have always reduced my coverage’s to match prices. You need to purchase your automobile insurance from the person that you will call when really bad things happen. Someone you can trust and depend on when you need them the most. Remember, all insurance policies are good until the claim hits.

Buying online is possible but from my experience often has disastrous results. Unless you a very knowledgeable in insurance coverage’s I do not suggest an online purchase. I have seen many who have purchased online auto insurance thinking they had all the coverage they needed only to find themselves significantly under-insured in a claim situation.
